Land’s End in Lomochrome Turquoise

San Francisco's Lands End view in pale orange and teal of the coastal site of multiple shipwrecks

The Lomographic Society has been creating novel new films, and a popular and otherworldly one is Lomochrome Turquoise.  It renders the world in oranges and turquoise-green tones.

I prefer the tones of Lomography’s extended range films shot at ISO 200, so I got three rolls of the 120 format, and went for a walk with my Mamiya RB67 at a remote-feeling coastal park of cliffs and breezes in the northwest corner of the City.  The weather was bright and sunny, though a thick mist shrouded the Golden Gate.

Despite the bright sun, the results are otherworldly.

I’m unsure I have a real use case for this film, but I was surprised by the results, and enjoyed the experiment.
