Metropolis Color Walk (expired Lomo Metropolis)

I was an early backer of the Lomographic Society’s Kickstarter to fund their Metropolis film, and decided that I should pull it out of my refrigerator and use it up! The same friend who gifted me some FND Sora had tried it, and while he didn’t like the desaturation of this film while fresh, a single image of his showed some vivid reds and blues that I wanted to emulate. While fresh, the film has a nearly overexposed look, but my film wasn’t fresh, so anything could happen… I decided to shoot my 6 year old film at half speed, to see what I’d get.

2019 Very-Expired Metropolis is quite grainy. The contrast is fine. Reds turn toward rust. All but deep green fades. Blues are muted. This was a good experiment, and I enjoyed myself on the walk, but don’t think I have projects where this grain will suit me.
